Nebraska Libertarians Save Taxpayers Money with Successful Lobbying for Improved Ballot Access Laws

New and improved ballot access laws are now in place in Nebraska, with Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman having signed LB 1035 on April 10, 2012.  The Libertarian Party of Nebraska successfully lobbied for this change so that political parties only need to re-qualify every 4 years rather than every 2 years.

LNC Agenda for August 20 Session in Columbus, OH

The Libertarian National Committee (LNC) and Libertarian State Leadership Association (LSLA) will be teaming up for a busy weekend August 19-21, 2011 at the downtown Hyatt in Columbus, Ohio.

The LNC will be meeting beginning at 9:00am on August 20th and continuing to August 21st.  Click here for the proposed LNC agenda.

The Democrats' New Pork: Trains to Nowhere

In the last decade, the symbol for profligate federal spending was the infamous "Bridge to Nowhere" ... This decade the symbol for federal pork-barrel excess may well be Trains to Nowhere -- and if Democrats get their way, those boondoggles could span the country.  At least in blue states.

Convention Updates Now Online

As we kick off a new LNC term, let me first take a moment to say thank you for the opportunity to serve the party as LNC Secretary.  Opportunities abound for us in the modern political landscape, and I look forward to working with you to find ways to engage in real politics to reduce the size of government.
