In first, New Hampshire Union-Leader endorses Libertarian for president

ImageBreaking with a 100-year streak of endorsing Republicans, the New Hampshire Union-Leader, the state's newspaper of record, endorsed Libertarian Gov. Gary Johnson for president.

From the September 15 the editorial:

"Former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson is back in New Hampshire today, and we encourage Granite State voters disgusted by the choices they face in this fall’s presidential election to give him a close look.

Quinnipiac Poll: Johnson at 13%

In a Quinnipiac poll released September 14, Libertarian Gov. Gary Johnson polls at 13 percent. The poll puts Democrat Hillary Clinton at 41 percent and Republican Donald Trump at 39 percent.

57 percent of respondents say Gary Johnson should be allowed in the debates while 53 percent say they have no opinion of him. 

“Translation: The public wants to hear more about Libertarian Gary Johnson,” said Libertarian National Committee Chair, Nicholas Sarwark. "They actually want debates to inform and educate."

RT: Clinton’s health not biggest problem of her campaign

"Clinton’s physical condition is not the biggest campaign problem. The president needs to stay on one side of issues for some length of time and she hasn’t been able to do that, says former Libertarian candidate for the US Senate Arvin Vohra."

"Enter the CNN Labor day poll.  Recent polls have Johnson/Weld leading the demographic of ages 18-34 in most areas.  CNN released their most recent poll showing a decrease to 7% support for the Libertarian ticket.  That didn’t look good for Johnson/Weld… until a rather obvious omission came to light.
