LP Monday Message: 2010 St. Louis Convention Early Bird Deadline March 31

Dear Friend of Liberty,
The Early Bird registration deadline for the 2010 Libertarian National Convention in St. Louis has been extended to March 31.
I hope you'll visit the registration page and purchase a discounted convention package today.
A new "Business Session Only" registration option will be provided shortly which allows delegates to attend the business sessions without paying for any of the packages. The registration process will allow those who register for the Business Session Only to request sponsorship for other package levels, including basic, silver and gold.
The latest issue of LP News should be arriving at many homes around this time, and it contains a registration form you can mail in. That form and an excerpt from LP News about the convention are available here.
Just a friendly reminder that putting on a national convention in a nice professional hotel is a huge project with significant expenses, and we don't receive taxpayer subsidies for our conventions (unlike the Democrats and Republicans).
We Libertarians pay for our own conventions. It may sound strange, but we usually get to use the big convention halls in the hotels for free -- but only if enough of you purchase our premium convention packages and rent rooms in the hotel. That's why I'm encouraging you to go ahead and get the Gold Package, get it early, and reserve a hotel room as well.
Your early registration will help enormously with our planning.
The 2010 Convention Committee, chaired by Admiral Michael C. Colley, along with four additional LNC members, organized and set most of the policies for this convention.
