Scott Wooden, who was elected to the Del Mar Unified District School Board in California in 2014, chaged his registration from Republican to Libertarian on June 8.

California Libertarian Party chair Ted Brown welcomed Wooden aboard and is very happy to have another Libertarian in elected office.

“This is the time for all libertarian-minded officials to leave the dying Republican Party and join the only party that really believes in economic freedom, plus personal freedom as a bonus,” said Brown. “And Republicans can barely win an election in California anymore. Libertarian is the way to go.”
