RALEIGH (March 4) – The Libertarian Party of North Carolina is partnering with the North Carolina Channel, a new service of UNC-TV, to broadcast the only presidential debate to be held in North Carolina.

LP at Students For Liberty conference this weekend

ImageThe Libertarian Party will be participating at the Students For Liberty conference, being held this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Marriott Wardman Park hotel, 2660 Woodley Rd, Washington, DC 20008.

The Libertarian Party will have a booth at the event, and LP Political Director Carla Howell and LNC regional representative Dr. Jim Lark will be speaking.

Dear Libertarian,

LP submits 42,000 signatures to get back on the ballot in Oklahoma

ImageThe Libertarian Party delivered petitions with 42,000 signatures to the Oklahoma election board on February 22.

If approved, this would be the first time since 2000 that any non-establishment party appeared on the ballot in the state. 24,745 valid signatures are required to get on the ballot. The election board has 30 days to verify the validity of the signatures.
