Dear Friend of Liberty,

LP Monday Message: Lights of Liberty Awards

February 7, 2011

Dear Friend of Liberty,

Thanks to the generous support of our contributors, we raised around $2,000 last week when we asked for help to buy a teleprompter. We'll be ordering an affordable model shortly, along with lighting, a podium, and a few other things needed to help us generate good-quality videos. We really appreciate the financial support for this effort.

LP Monday Message: Teleprompters!

January 31, 2011

Dear Friend of Liberty,

I hope you saw our video response to the State of the Union and Republicans last week. We got some feedback on that video, and it was overwhelmingly positive -- positive that we need a teleprompter.

I'm serious -- we actually do need a teleprompter. We discovered that it's really difficult to give video presentations without one.

LP Monday Message: It's time to "YouCut" body scanners

January 24, 2011

Dear Friend of Liberty,

We've heard Republican members of Congress repeatedly claim that they are going to cut federal spending. Yeah, right.

Libertarian candidate Rex Bell got historic percentage in Indiana

In November 2010, Rex Bell ran for Indiana state representative and got 20.78%, against both a Republican and a Democrat. According to Ballot Access News, that is the first time in 85 years that any party candidate (other than a Republican or Democrat) has gotten more than 20% for Indiana legislature, running against both a Republican and a Democrat.

Congratulations to Rex Bell and the Indiana LP.
