Dear Libertarian,

I don't know about you, but I'm sick and tired of hearing about the "wasted vote syndrome". And I'm desperately trying to do something about it. I'm desperately trying to get the Libertarian Party on the ballot in every single state for 2016.

I'd like to thank everyone who supported the Libertarian Party's recent outreach efforts at the 2015 International Students For Liberty Conference.

I felt like the Libertarian Party's message was very well received. The students attending the conference had strong libertarian leanings.

LNC Meeting to be streamed live on 9/20 & 9/21; agenda

The Libertarian National Committee meets in Alexandria, Va., Sept. 20–21. The LNC will attempt to stream the meeting live on the Internet. Because of potential technical challenges, and to experiment with various broadcasting arrangements, multiple options for broadcast may be presented. Check back on this page for potential updates.

Lady Liberty was dedicated at a ceremony presided over by President Grover Cleveland 125 years ago today after New York's first ever ticker-tape parade.
She sits in a harbor approximately five miles from me and has welcomed millions and millions of immigrants to our shores since 1886.

Ed Thompson, noted Wisconsin Libertarian, passes away

Ed ThompsonWe have received news that Ed Thompson, a noted Wisconsin Libertarian, died of pancreatic cancer today at the age of 66.

Ed Thompson was the 2002 Libertarian Party candidate for Wisconsin Governor, receiving 11% of the vote. He also served as Mayor of Tomah, Wisconsin, and later ran for office as a Republican. Ed's brother, Tommy Thompson, a Republican, was 42nd Governor of Wisconsin and a current candidate for U.S. Senate.
