Bill Lynn was elected to Ward 5 of the Davenport City Council in Iowa. He graduated from Blackburn College in 1968, earned his Masters from the University of Missouri- Kansas in 1975, and went on to earn a PhD from the University of Illinois in 1991. He is currently a professor of Finance, Economics and Decision Science at St. Ambrose College in Iowa.
As a Councilman, Lynn is focused on improving safety, monitoring spending, and improving communication between city officials and citizens. He works toward greater governmental efficiency in order to improve the city of Davenport. He won his most recent campaign with 62% of the vote, despite a decrease in campaigning due to illness.
