Robert Sherwin was born in Berea, Ohio in 1957. In 2005 he graduated with honors from Lorain County Community College. He has been employed for 11 years as an Engineering Mechanic at the Bioplastics Company. Robert has been a political activist for most of his adult life spreading the libertarian message of lower taxes, limited government, personal choice and responsibility, pro-small business, 2nd amendment rights, school choice, and lifestyle respect. He has been actively involved in the Lorain County Libertarian Party for 3 years and serves on both the Executive and Central committees.
Robert R. Ryan, is an engineer in satellite and aerospace propulsion systems. Mr. Ryan became involved in human rights and drug reform efforts as result of events in his mother's battle with cancer and his son’s drug arrest. He has been very active in community service and has held significant leadership positions in Cub Scouts, PTA, Knights of Columbus, Weed n Seed and other organizations. Mr. Ryan previously ran for Mayor of Salisbury Maryland and was later elected to the Republican Central Committee. As a member and treasurer of the Republican Central Committee, he authored and co-sponsored resolutions on voting rights and medical marijuana which resulted in the Daryl Puttman medical marijuana bill signed into law by Governor Bob Ehrlich.. Mr. Ryan moved back to Ohio, where he worked on several local issues including the defeat of the Hamilton County Jail tax. He has also testified on several issues at state legislative and local government hearings. Mr. Ryan believes that the Republican & Democratic Party dominance of state and federal government is the root cause of our dysfunctional government.
Paul is a successful small business entrepreneur. He joined the Allen County Chamber of Commerce and opened Holliday Supply Etc. -- a retail party store immediately after graduation from Perry High School. A few years later he sold the company to become a full time brand ambassador across the state of Ohio for high-end technology products manufactured by Hewett Packard, Panasonic, Sony and others.
Sean writes, “I will vote based on the Constitution, not special interests. Just like the millions of servicemen and women who have defended this country, Congress must defend our God given rights. Taking the fruits of your labor is immoral as it is theft. A government has no more of a right to your money than a common thief. The occupation of 130 countries with 900 military bases creates enemies. Damage to our security is also from the financial costs of maintaining an empire.”
Eric Eberly’s parents are both veterans of the United States Army. Eric knows first-hand the sacrifices our veterans have made for our Liberty. He earned a degree in Small Business Management, graduating Summa Cum Laude and is also a licensed Real Estate agent. Eric is a resident of Bowling Green in Wood County, a supporter of the Toledo Food Bank, Cherry Street Mission and Habitat for Humanity and is engaged to marry Suzanna Tyrrell, a local entrepreneur.
Richard is a Strategic Communication major at The Ohio State University, currently holding a 3.5 grade point average. Before Ohio State, Richard attended Bowling Green State University as a Telecommunications major from 2006 - 2009, where he earned a reputation as an outspoken and dynamic student activist, as well as popular radio host for two of the University's radio stations - 88.1 WBGU-FM and WFAL Falcon Radio. Richard also served as the 2008-2009 President of WFAL Falcon Radio. Before attending college in 2006, Richard worked in manufacturing and food industry jobs in order to save enough money to begin higher education. He is a true blue-collar overachiever who prides himself on passionately spreading the message of freedom as a Libertarian. He has also been a major advocate for marriage equality as his campaign has helped the Ohio Freedom to Marry movement gather over 5,000 signatures towards a potential 2013 ballot initiative seeking to remove barriers to full marriage freedom for LGBT couples in Ohio.
