About the Candidate
The objective of Allen's campaign is to aid in changing government for
the benefit of the residents of the State of Georgia. The three issues
which Allen has focused on in this race are on how to improve Georgia's
failing public schools, lowering the state income tax, and working
towards substantive laws that will truly curb the growth of eminent
domain.
Allen believes that, between the public sector and the private
sector, the private sector is more efficient. Allen thinks that most
people would so agree. Thus, he believes that government and government
solutions to problems should be minimized.
Allen believes that government should exist to handle matters that
individuals cannot handle efficiently individually. Thus, it is logical
that taxes are levied to pay for a national defense, police and fire
protection and roads. But, government should not be used to influence
individual behavior, provided that laws must exist to protect people,
property and the environment.
