About the Candidate:
Karen Richardson was first elected to the City Council for the City of Johns Creek, Georgia in 2006 and continues to serve in that position. Richardson holds a BA in History from the University of Rochester and an MS in Instructional Design, Development and Evaluation from Syracuse University. She was formerly an educational consultant with the Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, New York. Before her time as a City Council member, she served the Johns Creek community as a member of the Windermere Park Homeowners Association as well as serving as the Chair of the Zoning Committee of the Johns Creek Community Association (JCCA). Richardson is dedicated to engaging the community in governmental and policy affairs.
