About the Candidate
After high school, Daniel Grow attended Northern Michigan University. He transferred to Michigan State and graduated with a degree in Public Administration. He went on to law school at the University of Detroit, and has practiced law since. Grow limits his practice to the representation of business and local governments in state, federal, and administrative courts. Grow has been the chairman of the Libertarian Party of Southwest Michigan since 2006, and was chosen to serve on the national party's Platform Committee as Michigan's delegate. He has been a delegate at the last two Libertarian Party of Michigan conventions, the national convention in Denver, Colorado, and was elected as a committee member at large to the Libertarian Party of Michigan's executive committee in June of 2008. Under his leadership, the Libertarian Party of Southwest Michigan has expanded from three counties to seven counties.
