About the Candidate

Morey Straus is a man who cares about the future of New Hampshire. A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Straus has lived in New Hampshire since 2006. He is 39 years of age. A member of the Libertarian Party since 1992, Straus is a firm believer that the only ethical, rational answer to the problems we face in our community is liberty. To that end, he has supported many libertarian and charitable causes with both time and financial resources. Straus spent several years traveling throughout the European and Asia-Pacific regions, working with a diverse range of people from a variety of cultures. These experiences helped to solidify his belief that differences among peaceful people are to be embraced, not feared. In his leisure time, he enjoys riding motorcycles, doing home improvement projects, and sharing the concepts of liberty.
