About the Candidate
I was born in Goosebay, Labrador on a U.S. Air Force Base in 1961. Our
family moved a lot because of my father's military service. Most of my
childhood was spent in North Dakota. In 1979 I joined the U.S. Army
and spent 13 years in the service, attaining the rank of Sergeant First
Class, E-7. I served tours in Germany, South Korea, and Africa. During
my military service I served as a mechanic, motor sergeant, platoon
sergeant and as an instructor. Upon leaving the service in 1992 I have
worked as a small business owner and over the road truck driver. In
2000 I ran for State Rep. in the 138th District. I am currently
Secretary of the Greene County Libertarian Party. I am married to my
lovely bride of 20 years, Bonnie. Between us we have three children and
eight grandchildren.
