About the Candidate:
A lifelong Texan, Patrick was born in Dallas and grew up in the small west Texas town of Monahans. He takes a common sense approach to politics by sticking to his principles of small government, Austrian Economics, and personal responsibility. Dr. Hisel currently works as a primary care physician. He continues to deepen his education in economics by studying with the Mises Institute. Patrick is an advocate for Women’s Health and has served on the Board of Directors of. HOPE a shelter for women and children who are victims of domestic violence. Patrick served as a medical missionary in Africa at Nigerian Christian Hospital in Aba, Abia State, Nigeria. Patrick and his wife Stephanie have completed numerous marathons, half-marathons, and triathlons and they have raised thousands of dollars for their charities, the American Hospice Association, The Organization for Autism Research, and the American Diabetes Association.
