About the Candidate:
Robert Kraus will offer solutions, not slogans, in his campaign for City Council by bringing over 20 years of fiscally responsible business experience to the city. In addition to currently serving as the Director of Operations, and as a past acting Executive Director of the national Libertarian Party, Robert is an active volunteer at the Little Theatre of Alexandria as well as Alexandria’s Port City Playhouse. Robert also serves as an Adjunct Instructor for Northern Virginia Community College teaching management, finance and accounting. If elected Robert promises to: Reevaluate the Waterfront Project and halt special favors for developers; Target and get rid of failed programs and needless spending; cut taxes and spending to save approximately $1,400 off the average homeowner’s tax bill.
