Scott Gesty
US House, Delaware
Election Date: May 30, 2012
Location
About the Candidate:
Scott writes: “My name is Scott Gesty and I am running for United States Congress. I am running to offer the citizens of Delaware an alternative to the two party system that has failed the American people. I am the only candidate that will base every vote on the Constitution. I will devote my time in office to defending the civil and economic liberties of every individual in this state. One of my favorite founders of this nation is John Quincy Adams. I agree with him when he wrote: “Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost.” - John Quincy Adams

Marcia Groff

Election Date: October 19, 2012

Gwendolyn "Wendy" Jones
State Senate, 6th District, Delaware
Election Date: May 30, 2012
Location
About the Candidate:
An active member of the Libertarian Party for almost 20 years, Wendy is a member of the local business community and currently serves as the Sussex County LPDE Secretary. She is a strong supporter of individual rights and economic liberties and, as a long time small business owner, will work to restore free-market entrepreneurship, facilitating job creation and economic opportunities for Delawareans while minimizing government waste and intrusion into everyone's lives.
Her support of the Second Amendment is evidenced by being an NRA member for over 25 years, currently holding a Life-Endowment level membership. She is also a Gun Owners of America member and she is the Delaware representative for Pink Pistols. She carries a well-worn copy of the U.S. Constitution which will be her guide in Dover.
A Milton resident since 2001, Wendy also works with the local Cape Henlopen school district and has spent her spare time giving back to her community, volunteering for many community events, mentoring at H.O. Brittingham Elementary School in Milton, donating her professional driving services for Sussex County Mobility Consortium and participating in municipal functions.
Wendy is looking forward to representing the people of the 6th Senate District and bringing a new spirit of liberty to Legislative Hall.
James Christina
State Senate, 7th District, Delaware
Election Date: May 30, 2012
Location
About the Candidate:
I oppose the use of unmanned devices being used for law enforcement and used in order to fine citizens.
I support a "Constitutional Carry" bill that would allow any law abiding citizen to carry a firearm concealed without a permit. The 2nd Amendment to the Constitution says. No Law shall be made to infringe on the "Right to Bear Arms".
I support reforming the way Delaware does legislative redistricting so that districts are drawn by independent balanced commission appointed by the State Legislature. Elected Officials would not be allowed to serve on this commission.
I oppose taking federal money to create a state health insurance exchange. Taking federal money to implement this program contractually obligates the state from being able to create its own laws and regulations over health insurance instead cedes decision making to the federal government.
I support legislation to nullify Obama Care and authorize state and local law enforcement to arrest federal officials attempting to implement the unconstitutional health care scheme known as Obama Care. It should be a felony offense.
