Libertarian Candidates Matthew Hess and John Buckley on Downsizing the Federal Government
Matthew Hess, running for Governor of Colorado, and Marc Harrold, running for U.S. Representative in Virginia in the 11th Congressional District, will explain how they will work to drastically reduce taxes and government spending; call for a cease-fire in the ruinously expensive, counter-productive and crime-enhancing War on Drugs; end crony capitalism; and get the government off the backs of small businesses.
Matthew Hess is the Libertarian Party candidate for Governor of Colorado.
He is a self-described "IT geek, husband, father, volunteer, and Libertarian."
He has worked as a systems administrator and technologist in the Denver area throughout his career and is well informed in all matters involving information technology that Colorado faces.
He has invested many hours within the community working with the Cub Scouts and the Boy Scouts.
He received the Bronze Presidential Volunteer Service Award from The Boy Scouts of America.
Marc Harrold is the Libertarian Party candidate for U.S. Representative in Virginia in the 11th Congressional District.
An attorney, he is a partner in Ferreyra & Harrold, PLLC, an immigration law firm. He was a prosecutor with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
He served with the Atlanta Police Department (APD). His final assignment was with the now-disbanded narcotics unit, Red Dog.
He is the author of Observations of White Noise: An Acid Test for the First Amendment. He was the co-author with Ron Rychlak of Mississippi Criminal Trial Practice.
He has appeared on the Fox News Channel, CNN HLN, Tru TV, BBC America, Canada's CTV, RT, and Court TV.
He graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Political Science. He graduated with honors from the University of Mississippi School of Law. During his time at Ole Miss, he served on the Mississippi Law Journal and the Journal of National Security Law.
He lives in Fairfax.
