Radley Balko - Originally from Greenfield, Indiana, Balko is a writer and editor living in Alexandria, Virginia. He is a former policy analyst with the Cato Institute, now a senior editor for Reason magazine. He is also a biweekly columnist with FoxNews.com and has appeared in publications as diverse as Playboy to the Wall Street Journal.
Mark Rutherford - Mark is a shareholder in the Indianapolis law firm, Thrasher, Buschmann Griffith & Voelkel, P.C. He practices primarily in the areas of general business law, business litigation, administrative and criminal corporate regulatory compliance, and business transactions. He is the immediate past State Chairman of the Libertarian Party of Indiana (2000-07). He also served as a member of the Libertarian National Committee (2001-06).
Dr. Eric Schansberg - Dr. Eric Schansberg is a Professor of Economics at Indiana University Southeast in New Albany where he has been on faculty for 16 years. His two books on public policy, Turn Neither to the Right nor to the Left: A Thinking Christian’s Guide to Politics and Public Policy and Poor Policy: How Government Harms the Poor, have received positive press reviews. His research and writing have focused on applied microeconomics—with a special emphasis on how public policy often harms the poor and the intersection between economics, politics, and religion.
Respective State Business Meetings - Election of officers, revision of by-laws, points of order will be discussed. Annual awards for volunteers, candidates and communicators will be announced.
