We enjoyed a lively get-together at the Holiday Inn-Visalia back in late November, and now it's time to do it again! Sunday afternoon is a great time for a meeting in Visalia, and once again our liberty-loving friends at the award-winning Holiday Inn-Visalia will host our casual event.

2010 is a vitally important election year, so please plan to be there, 3 to 5 p.m., to meet candidates and volunteers who are ready to make a difference!

 

Meet us on the dining terrace in the lobby of the Holiday Inn - Visalia between 3 and 5 p.m. Sunday afternoon, January 24th, for a casual gathering. Our agenda will center around how to increase newsworthy Party activity in the Southern Central Valley, and will focus on helping Libertarian candidates run for public offices.

As well, Beau Cain will be on hand to answer questions about the California LP's upcoming Annual Convention of Delegates in Long Beach over Valentine's Day weekend. And there could be a report or two of even more Party activity in the Southern Central Valley, so come find out what others are doing nearby to promote liberty.

Help Your Candidates

There's still time to volunteer for the money-saving Signature Circle. You can volunteer to help your local and statewide candidates gather the signatures they'll need to run for office without paying a filing fee. That helps your candidate put all of his or her campaign donations into the campaign instead of into the state coffers.

Your candidates (and yes, the county and state Parties, too) need other volunteer skills as well. Are you artistically gifted? How about your Public Relation skills? Know how to design and construct Web sites? Maybe you can manage a Facebook page or a Meetup group (easy, but amazingly influential!) Are you good at getting others to donate time, money, or auctionable items such as goods or services?
