Keep the housing market a free market - "The housing market should be a free market, where everybody faces the responsibility for the decisions they make without hanging the taxpayer out to dry," says National Media Coordinator Andrew Davis.
Executive Director Shane Cory resigns from the Libertarian National Committee - "Shane was very productive and an excellent financial manager," says Libertarian National Committee member Vice Admiral Michael Colley, USN [Ret.]. "He got the Party back on the right page financially and did very well representing the Party in the nation's capital."
Put farm subsidies out to pasture - "It's absurd that we're paying farmers billions of dollars during a time of soaring crop prices," says Libertarian Party National Media Coordinator Andrew Davis. "Taxpayers should not be subsidizing farmers while paying higher prices at the grocery store."
Sen. Janus McCain - "McCain is essentially playing the role of Janus, with two faces looking in the opposite directions. Calling for tax cuts without any plans to offset those cuts with reductions in government spending is bad economic policy, and one that has put us in the dire economic situation Americans currently face," says Libertarian Party Chairman William Redpath.
