Meet the producers of the Waco documentary
It's the film that the government doesn't want you to see. In fact,
federal bureaucrats like Janet Reno just wish it would go away.
But that's unlikely now that
Waco:The Rules of Engagement has been
nominated for a 1998 Academy Award for best documentary feature -- and been
praised
by the New York Times, Siskel & Ebert, and the Atlanta Film
Festival.
Now Libertarians will have a chance to see the chilling
documentary that's generated all this acclaim, when Waco: The Rules of
Engagement
is shown at the 1998 LP Convention.
The movie paints a devastating
picture of out-of-control federal agents, their involvement in the fiery
deaths of 76 people, and the cover-up that followed.
Plus, the producers of the movie, Dan and Amy Gifford, will
be on hand for a special audience Question & Answer session, following the
film.
"If you've been wondering about the real story behind the Waco
tragedy, or how such a controversial film gets made, or the critical reaction
to this Waco expose, here's your chance to ask the people who did it," said Kris
Williams, the LP Projects Manager who arranged the event.
