Missouri legislators honor Libertarian

WASHINGTON – America’s third largest political party joined the Missouri House of Representatives Wednesday in honoring Libertarian Party activist and Grandview City Councilman-elect Mike Ferguson.  On Feb. 25, the House unanimously presented Ferguson with a resolution recognizing his community service and professional accomplishments.

Sundwall On Stimulus Scheme "No, With Amendments"

NIVERVILLE, NY -- Libertarian congressional candidate Eric Sundwall said today that if he had been in Congress he would have voted against Obama's economic stimulus plan but would have introduced amendments to make a bad bill somewhat better. "My position on the Obama plan is no with amendments. The notion of economic stimulus is misguided and false. The government's inflation of the monetary supply causes the boom and bust cycle. Unlike Tedisco who could not be bothered to take a stand for weeks then said yes with amendments and now no, I have always opposed the stimulus scheme.

Libertarian Sundwall Faces Rivals In Times-Union/WMHT Debate

NIVERVILLE, NY -- Libertarian special election congressional candidate Eric Sundwall will be included in the debate sponsored by the Albany Times-Union and WMHT on Thursday, March 19th at 7:30pm, according to campaign manager Richard Cooper. As of now, Republican candidate James Tedisco will not participate. This Friday, Sundwall will appear on WMHT's "New York Now" program. Libertarians ask, ‘What is Obama ashamed of?’

WASHINGTON – America’s third largest party asked Wednesday why President Obama enacted the $490 billion FY09 omnibus spending and its over 8,500 earmarks behind closed doors, and despite campaign promises to end earmark abuse.

“President Obama’s decision to hide from the media while signing this bill isn’t just a violation of his promise of transparency, it’s an attempt to avoid questions about breaking another promise to end earmark abuse,” said Libertarian National Committee Communications Director Donny Ferguson.

WASHINGTON – America’s third largest party is asking Americans to vote on what they think the White House’s ongoing war with conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh is intended to distract attention from, Libertarian National Committee (LNC) Communications Director Donny Ferguson announced Wednesday. 

The LNC has posted a poll at asking Americans to cast their vote for one of five harmful Obama policies the White House hopes their spat with Limbaugh will distract attention from.
