Ohio primary voters can vote Libertarian for the first time

from the April 7 Cincinnati Enquirer:

Voters in the May 4 Primary Election have plenty of candidates to choose from on the Republican and Democratic ballots.

But this year for the first time they'll also see a contested race on a third party ballot.

Libertarians Jared Croxton and Jim Berns both want to run for the 1st Congressional District seat held by Democrat Steve Driehaus. It's the only contested race in Southwest Ohio for any of Ohio's four minor parties - Libertarian, Constitution, Green and Socialist.

New York LP chair offers tips on getting press coverage

from New York LP chair Chris Edes:

Get free media time. Get involved in your local Tea Party, then call the media and say you're available for interviews.

I was interviewed by the local PBS affiliate regarding the upcoming Tea Party. So was the county CFL coordinator.

As April 15 approaches I expect to do more interviews with local media. First you get one interview. Then, you call the other media up and say "I was interviewed by such-and-so media outlet, and I want to let you know I'm available for interview with you as well."
