LP stickers find their way to eBay

Apparently, one of our entrepreneurial members is trying to turn a profit off our "rare" LP stickers. Ahhh, you have to love capitalism.

If you would like our stickers without buying them off of eBay, all members receive these stickers when joining with the party, or renewing a membership.

Reader Comments:

Even if the stickers aren't "rare", whoever the person is he's getting the LP name out to people who may not be familiar. Maybe he should be hired as the LP's PR person.

With 2 Hours and 56 minutes remaining, still zero bids on that auction. Don't think the message is getting out. :)

No bidders but over 100 page views. You don't have to sell something to get the word out.

To other LP members thanks to this post.

This post is less than half a day old but the auction is almost over. I don't think he got that many hits just because of this post.

Why not simply photocopy 20 Libertarian flyers for a dollar, and staple them up on bulletin boards at the nearest college campus?

With Back to School around the corner, the flyers could say that you are starting a Campus Libertarian Club. Offer to buy pizza for anyone who stays for the meeting.

I don't see any information here on a former Libertarian, Ron Paul. How about a post?

Posted by: Eddie at August 8, 2007 10:19 AM

Why not hire a PR/Marketing firm? Oh yeah, the party of the free market doesn't market. Odd.

Kudos, Mr. Crowley. According to InfoPlease, there are more than 4,000 colleges in the U.S.
I suggest the LP make his suggestion a project for the start of the new school year. Heck, imagine how would the libertarian landscape change if 10% of these colleges had a active libertarian club a year or two from now.
We have been sadly neglecting the libertarian education of our youth.

Creech, old buddy, I agree again. Of course, being all libertarians here it's bound to happen a lot.

I also participate in an eclectic local (Warren, Mi) politics forum and they beat up on me pretty good, being only 1 of 2 libertarians out of about 30 regular members. Of course I handle myself with aplomb.

By the way, I put my LP.org sticker on my guitar case.
