Libertarian candidate Michael Beitler continues to poll 6%
Michael Beitler, Libertarian for U.S. Senate in North Carolina, polled 6% in this SurveyUSA poll. Beitler has maintained support at 6% in several polls since June. Beitler received support from 11% of liberals, 5% of moderates, and 5% of conservatives. He was supported by 16% of independents, 5% of Democrats, and 2% of Republicans.
Libertarians in Texas poll
According to the Texas Tribune, six Texas Libertarian candidates are polling at least 5%. Kathie Glass, running for Governor, 5% Scott Jameson, running for Lt. Governor, 5% Jon Roland, running for Attorney General, 5% James Holdar, running for Land Commissioner, 7% Rick Donaldson, running for Agriculture Commissioner, 8% Roger Gary, running for Railroad Commissioner, 6%
Libertarians polling strong in Georgia, may force runoffs
According to a WXIA TV poll, the Georgia Libertarian candidate for governor, John Monds, is getting 9% of voter support. In three races (including the governor’s race), the poll indicates Libertarian candidates will hold the other candidates below 50%, requiring a runoff.
