Sean Haugh, the North Carolina LP candidate for the U.S. Senate this November, is polling at 11 percent in his three-way race, according to Public Policy Polling today.
This is an extraordinarily high poll result for a third-party candidate in three-way race for U.S. Senate in a major public poll.
Incumbent Democrat Kay Hagen is polling at 38 percent, and the Republican challenger Thom Tillis at 36 percent. The rest, 15 percent, are undecided.
Haugh won a primary race against another potential LPNC U.S. Senate candidate, Tim D’Annunzio, last Tuesday.
Sean is a former political director of the Libertarian National Committee, and former executive director of the North Carolina LP.
