North Carolina Libertarian U.S. Senate candidate still polling 11%

Sean Haugh, the North Carolina LP candidate for the U.S. Senate this November, is still polling at 11 percent in his three-way race, according to a poll released by Public Policy Polling on June 17.

PPP put Haugh at 11 percent in a poll release on May 13.

Incumbent Democrat Kay Hagen is polling at 39 percent, and the Republican challenger Thom Tillis at 34 percent. The rest, 16 percent, are undecided.

To be eligible to participate in U.S. Senate candidate debates in the state, a candidate must be polling at least 10 percent in the three most recent polls prior to the debate. No dates have been confirmed yet for debates.

Sean is a former political director of the Libertarian National Committee, and former executive director of the North Carolina LP.
