Ohio Republicans are at it again, using their powers in office to suppress competition from Libertarians.

On Friday, March 7th, Republican Secretary of State Jon Husted disqualified gubernatorial candidate Charlie Earl and attorney general candidate Steven Linnabary from the May 6 Libertarian primary.

The LP of Ohio, represented by attorney Mark Brown, will challenge the decision in federal court.

According to Richard Winger of Ballot Access News, the LP has a strong case and precedent on their side.

This latest Republican attack comes on the heels of their failed attempt in January to keep Libertarians off the 2014 ballot.
