Only one week to go!

Don’t Wait! Register Today!
Libertarian Party 2014 National Convention

A detailed schedule of events is now up on the convention website! If you’ve been waiting for this and you haven’t yet purchased a package, please review this schedule and then go to the registration page to make your purchases today.

My colleague Kevin Knedler (LPOH chair) has said this convention has no “sizzle” in the business sessions because it’s a non-presidential convention. Unfortunately, we cannot afford the likes of John Stossel. But we do have some pretty big names, and there is plenty of sizzle with the lineup of speakers and entertainers, many of whom have never been to an LP convention. It is packed with a terrific lineup for the Reception, the Breakfasts and Lunches, and the Grand Banquet, as well as the Breakouts!

You will have a wonderful time and will not be disappointed. Don’t delay: Register Today!

We must give the Hyatt accurate meal counts by Monday, June 23. After that date, we cannot guarantee the availability of tickets to the meals. Also, by registering online ahead of time, your on-site registration/check-in process will run more smoothly, as your pre-printed name badge and materials will be waiting for you.

There are still some guest rooms for us at the Hyatt, mostly for Friday and Saturday, but a few on Thursday night, and possibly Wednesday and Sunday. A small number of cancellations have freed up more rooms, but they get snatched up quickly. The Passkey reservation system will close on June 23. Reserve your space by following the link here.

As part of the hotel contract we got a few upgraded suites at the standard $119 rate. There is one “VIP Suite” (the Hyatt’s designation) available for Wednesday through Saturday nights (check-out Sunday). This suite is 1,352 square feet (4x a standard room) with three large bays, including a living room area, a dining area with a half-bath, and a king bedroom with a large master bath. A connecting bedroom could be reserved at the $119 rate. We are requiring that you take the suite for all four nights, pay the $119/night directly to the Hyatt as usual, but make an additional payment of $600 directly to the LNC right away. Contact me to make the arrangements. If you already have a reservation, I can transfer this suite to your name with the hotel.

And don’t forget to check out the Roomshare/Rideshare Facebook page from here.

This will be a fantastic convention!

See you soon!
