Libertarian on Stossel show Sunday at 5pm ET

Agendas are usually modified after the start of the meeting. The meetings usually end earlier than 6:00 p.m. Sunday, and often around noon.

Melinda Bradley Mitchell, an Indiana Libertarian Party candidate for town council in Newburgh, is only six votes behind the front-runner in her race.

Eleven Libertarians elected to office Tuesday

At least eleven Libertarian Party candidates were elected or reelected to office yesterday, Election Day (11/3/15).

In Indiana, Larry Walters was elected to the Dublin Town Council in a partisan race. Susan Bell was elected to another term as judge in Hagerstown. And Dennis Denney was reelected to another term in Shirley.

In Pennsylvania, five candidates were elected to office:

Commission on Presidential Debates won't change the 15% poll rule

From Ballot Access News: "On October 29, the Commission on Presidential Debates said it won’t change the 15% poll rule that it has used throughout this century."

"Two lawsuits are pending against the 15% rule, both in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C. They are Level the Playing Field v Federal Election Commission, and Johnson v Commission on Presidential Debates. The first one depends on campaign finance law and the second on antitrust law."

Stossel Post-Debate Show Will Feature Libertarian Perspective

The Washington Times quotes LP Chair Nicholas Sarwark from this press release in a column about a John Stossel show featuring libertarian commentary which will air on the Fox Business Network late in the evening after the next GOP debate scheduled for November 10.
The debate will focus on jobs, taxes, and the general health of the economy.

Arkansas LP nominates candidates for 2016 office

ImageThe Arkansas Libertarian Party, forced to nominate candidates earlier than any other state, selected 23 candidates for 2016 office at a convention last Saturday (10/24/15).

The LPAR nominated candidates for the US Senate, all four US House seats, ten legislative races, and eight local positions.

Presidential candidate debate at the Massachusetts LP convention

The Libertarian Party of Massachusetts held a debate among candidates vying for the party's Presidential nomination at their state convention last Saturday (10/17/15).

Participating in the debate were Marc Feldman, Steven Kerbel, Darryl Perry, and Derrick Michael Reid.
