About the Candidate: 

Michele Poague was born in Newman Grove, Nebraska and raised in southwest Denver with 5 sisters and a brother until her family moved to South Dakota where she attended high school. After attending Nettleton Business College, Michele left South Dakota and spent the next six years in Las Vegas, Nevada before returning to Colorado over 25 years ago in 1984. Michele has been employed with Bavaria Inn Restaurant since that time. In 1998, she was instrumental in the creation of the original Tea Party, The Glendale Tea Party In 2002, Michele published her first non-fiction book, Creating a Successful Convention. In 2011, she published her first two books of a science fiction trilogy, The Healing Crystal: Heir to Power and Fall of Eden. In 2012, she will publish the final book of the trilogy, The Healing Crystal: She has severed as Secretary of the Denver Libertarian party, as State Chair of the Colorado Libertarian Party, as a delegate to the Libertarian Party National Convention and in 2008, as the Executive Producer of the Libertarian Party National Convention.”
