Big Debate in Phoenix - 6:00 pm Sunday Sept. 26

A four-way debate between Sen. John McCain, Libertarian David Nolan and a couple of other guys will be televised LIVE on KTVK-3 in Phoenix tomorrow evening at 6:00 pm.  It will also be carried on KTTU-3 in Tucson. If you live outside those two cities, it will be streamed online at

Libertarians say Republicans owe apology, not pledge, to America

WASHINGTON - In response to the recent Republican "Pledge to America," Libertarian Party executive director Wes Benedict released the following statement:

Instead of a "Pledge to America," the Republicans should have written an "Apology to America." It should have gone something like this:

Notes from the Campaign Trail

Earlier this week I did a three-day campaign swing through central and northern Arizona. I recorded a 3-minute campaign message at KTVK in Phoenix, and spoke to Tea Party groups in Flagstaff and Scottsdale. This Sunday, I will take part in a live, televised debate that will include all four U.S. Senate candidates. It should be interesting!
