New York Libertarians get on the ballot

According to New York LP chair Mark Axinn, all six Libertarians running for statewide office succeeded in their petitioning to get on the November ballot. New York voters will have Libertarian options for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, both U.S. Senate seats, Attorney General, and Comptroller.

Several other Libertarian congressional and state legislative candidates also made it on the ballot.

Stop Stealing My Stuff by John Jay Myers

Originally the message of the Tea Party seemed clear “Less taxes and spending”.

Simple enough, Right?  Somehow they have gotten distracted.  Very, very distracted.  I know that all Tea Parties and their participants are different, so it is not fair for me to throw them all under the bus.

So for those who are distracted; let me attempt to recapture your attention.

Libertarians: Obama is shockingly pro-war

WASHINGTON - Following President Obama's "end of our combat mission" speech, Libertarian Party chairman Mark Hinkle released this statement:

"President Obama needs to stop lying. In his speech, he repeated the ridiculous and false claim that the U.S. combat mission is over in Iraq. He seems to think that if he keeps talking about the war in a nice way, then the war isn't really happening.

LP Monday Message: Travis Irvine's Quiz Across America video

August 30, 2010

Dear Friend of Liberty,

Today is my birthday! I've already received a great gift in the form of a video from the Travis Irvine for Congress campaign. (Actually I'm not sure they intended it as a gift, but I'm pleased all the same.)

The video shows the candidate volunteering for the Quiz Across America door hanger project in his neighborhood and interacting with voters. Please visit our home page to see the video.
