Phil Anderson, chair of the Dane County, Wisconsin Libertarian Party, has declared his candidacy for the US Senate seat in Wisconsin in 2016 as a Libertarian.

Mr. Anderson ran for the state assembly 47th district last year as a Libertarian, and garnered 18% of the vote in a two-way race against a Democrat.

“I am officially declaring my candidacy for US Senate”, said Mr. Anderson. “We need change in Washington D.C. and in all government. We need representatives who are not beholden to corrupt political parties, parties whose only interest is perpetuating their power. We need representatives who are more concerned about the peace, prosperity and privacy of their constituents than personal prestige and re-election.”

Mr. Anderson is producing a short video each day on his campaign website, discussing a specific issue.
