Tennessee Libertarians work for party recognition

Tennessee Libertarian candidates are trying to make sure they get listed on this November’s ballot as “Libertarian,” not “independent.”

Historically, Libertarian candidates in Tennessee have been listed as independents on the ballot. A recent article in the Tennessee Daily News Journal talks about how hard it is to get listed with your party label in that state. Tennessee Libertarians have filed a federal lawsuit to overcome this restriction.
