My Sister's Journey to Dr. Kevorkian
posted by Mary Ruwart on Jun 14, 2011
A week before Dr. Kevorkian's death, Dr. Mary J. Ruwart talked about her sister, Martie, who helped shape "Healing Our World" (free download of the 1992 edition at www.ruwart.com), before becoming one of Dr. Kevorkian's early patients. Dr. Ruwart described some startling facts about today's health care which suggest that the unintended consequences of banning assisted suicide may include deaths of patients who otherwise would have lived.
