Ed Zielinski

On Saturday, April 29, Libertarian Edward F. Zielinski was reelected to his seat on the Elsmere Town Council representing the 4th District. He won 46 votes; his opponent, Andrew B. Favreau, won 16 votes.

Zielinski had changed his registration from Republican to Libertarian last year.

“I’m incredibly proud and grateful for all of the time and hard work that Ed has dedicated so he can continue to represent his community,” said LP of Delaware Chair Sean Goward. “I’m also continuously amazed at the support our party members across the state pour out to ensure each campaign’s success.”

Scott Gesty, former chair of the LP of Delaware, said, “Congratulations to my friend Ed Zielinski in his landslide victory…for Elsmere Town Council representing the fourth district! I’m honored to know Ed and work with him and so many others in the Libertarian Party of Delaware.”
