Libertarians on the ballot in D.C. and Pennsylvania

Image2016 Libertarian Party presidential nominee Gary Johnson, vice-presidential nominee Bill Weld, and two other Libertarians will appear on the ballot in the District of Columbia this November, as there were no challenges to their petitions as of 5 P.M. ET on Monday, August 22.

Also running on the Libertarian ticket in D.C. are Martin Moulton for Delegate to the U.S. House of Representatives, and Matt Klokel, running for an at-large seat on the city council.

For the Libertarian Party to become a recognized party in D.C. for the next two years, at least one of the four candidates must get at least 7,500 votes in the 2016 general election.

Image​Johnson and Weld are now also on the ballot in Pennsylvania. In addition, the LP of Pennsylvania will have candidates for U.S. Senate, Auditor General, State Treasurer, two U.S. House seats, and four races in the state House of Representatives.

Governors Gary Johnson and Bill Weld are now on the ballot in 41 states, plus D.C.
