A recent poll from Public Policy Polling says that Libertarian Alex Snitker, running for U.S. Senate in Florida, is viewed favorably by 24% of liberals, 24% of moderates, and 4% of conservatives. July 19, 2010 Dear Friend of Liberty, The Federal Election Commission is harassing and maybe even threatening to silence the Campaign for Liberty. This is an attack on free speech and an attack on another organization working to promote freedom.

The Washington Post and Politico.com report that all criminal charges against pornographer John Stagliano were dismissed yesterday, July 16. The Libertarian Party issued this press release on July 15.

According to the National Journal, a recent poll shows Libertarian congressional candidate Travis Irvine getting 10% support. Irvine is running in Ohio’s 12th District. Irvine’s campaign has released a web video featuring "government grant guru" Matthew Lesko:

SurveyUSA has published another poll of the U.S. Senate race in North Carolina. Libertarian Michael Beitler polled 6%. Politically, his strongest support came from independents (12%) and liberals (15%). View the poll results.

On Tuesday, the Second Court of Appeals struck down the FCC’s indecency policy. This ruling is a great victory for all those who are proponents of free speech.
